Valentine, Lubang Biawak Di Bulan Februari

Pada bulan ini, kita selalu saja menyaksikan media massa, mal-mal, pusat-pusat hiburan bersibuk-ria berlomba menarik perhatian. Anak-anak muda berlomba mengucapkan "selamat hari Valentine", berkirim kartu dan bunga, saling bertukar pasangan, saling curhat, menyatakan sayang atau cinta karena anggapan saat itu adalah “hari kasih sayang”.
Kita mungkin selama ini telah banyak menyaksikan Valentine terjadi di negeri yang Muslimnya paling banyak ini. Sebenarnya apa Valentine ini?
Rasul Shallallaahu alaihi wa Salam telah melarang untuk mengikuti tata cara peribadatan selain Islam: “Barang siapa meniru suatu kaum, maka ia termasuk dari kaum tersebut.” (HR. At-Tirmidzi). Dan kita sudah hafal pula bahwa Valentine adalah kebiasaan orang-orang non-Muslim.
